Whoever made the kumicho-succession boxes, good work.

Are the boryokudan groups listed in any particular order (membership, date of fouding, etc.)? Yamaguchi is obviously on top, but what about the rest?

"Designated Boryokudan"s were designated by the prefecture's public safety commission in this order. Ykz 17:51, 18 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
I see you added the dates, that's great. And it brings up another question regarding the boryokudan which were "un-designated". For example, Kokusui-kai was recently un-designated because of its merger with Yamaguchi-gumi (the top gang is designated, so lower gangs are not individually designated). Was this the case with the couple others that lost their boryokudan status (Shinwa-kai, Dai Nippon Heiwa Kai, Kyokuto-Sakurai Soke-Rengokai) or was it for a different reason? Are these groups no longer active, or are they under the umbrella of a larger group, in which case what groups? 893
The Ishikawa-ikka (石川一家. socho: Kiyoyasu Ishikawa (石川清康)) had joined the Takumi-gumi (宅見組. kumicho: Masaru Takumi (宅見 勝)) of the Fifth Yamaguchi-gumi (五代目山口組) before October, 1995. Yoshiharu Ishikawa (石川芳春. Kiyoyasu Ishikawa's younger brother) who had become 2nd socho afterwards was killed in January, 2001. I do not know the recent situation of this ikka.
The Second Dainippon-Heiwa-kai (二代目大日本平和会. kaicho: Katsuyoshi Hirata (平田勝義)) dissolved in May, 1997. Many of umbrella organizations joined the secondary organization of the Fifth Yamaguchi-gumi.
The Third Yamano-kai (三代目山野会. kaicho: Tetsuo Ikeda (池田鉄雄)) dissolved in April, 2001. But, a lot of members gather again, and formed the Sanshin-kai (三心会. kaicho: Atsushi Inoue (井上 厚)) in September, 2001.
The Kyokuto-SakuraiSoke-Rengokai (極東桜井總家連合会) disappeared in the beginning of November, 2004. The half of the member retired, and the remainder entered under the umbrella of the Fifth Yamaguchi-gumi.
The Shinwa-kai (親和会) based in Takamatsu, Kagawa and the Shinwa-kai (親和会) in the Sumiyoshi-ikka are another organizations. Ykz 07:37, 21 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

What's the difference between the Kyokuryu-kai and the Okinawa Kyokuryu-kai? As far as I know, both gangs are based in Okinawa. 893

The Okinawa Kyokuryu-kai (沖縄旭琉会) was divided from the Third Kyokuryu-kai (三代目旭琉会) in September, 1990. Ykz 16:15, 24 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the info. I made stubs for both groups. Do you know the reason for the 1990 split? It would be useful to put that on the Okinawa Kyokuryu-kai page. 893 02:13, 1 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

David P. Flores

[edit]

David P. Flores should not be in the See Also section (which is only for wiki links), but I dont really know where to move him. Maybe he should be mentioned in Yakuza article?

anyone got proof that this person is for real? --Bobak 22:39, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
