Can someone enlighten me how Whitesnake are linked with Leeds?

- Malc

I have removed the ridiculous claim that all music festivals in the region are in Yorkshire, with no known in the north east. It all depends on how one is to define music festival, true, we may not have Leeds (Carling Weekend) but there are fairly well known festivals which are gaining more and more recognition each years such as the Evolution festival, plus the usual long standing music festivals such as Alnwick, which is as notable as many of the more minor Yorkshire festivals made. We aren't backwards in these parts, really! -- hedpeguyuk 15 March 2008 13:29 UTC —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.137.119.250 (talk) 13:30, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I made the above 'ridiculous' claim because at the time of writing, there was no mention of any on the Wikipedia page on festivals in the UK. Evidently I now know there is. Kingston Upon Hull should be listed alphabetically, for some reason it is after Leeds and not before. I intend to ammend this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mtaylor848 (talkcontribs) 14:54, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bands and musicians from Yorkshire[edit]

As per this discussion, what do people think about changing the subject to just Yorkshire? I'm happy to do the trimming myself. Spiderone 19:10, 9 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Depends what you mean by Yorkshire - the former county or the 4 current counties? Keith D (talk) 22:27, 9 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The 4 current counties, sorry Spiderone 15:12, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

North East Music Notables[edit]

Why wasn't Bryan Ferry from Co.Durham on the list? 2A00:23C4:2F82:B901:E991:FA82:6895:3316 (talk) 19:09, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
