Merger proposal[edit]

I propose that Bikini barista be merged into Baristas. I think that the content in the Bikini barista article can easily be explained in the context of Baristas, and the Baristas article is of a reasonable size that the merging of Bikini barista will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. • Bikini barista is a wholly different phenonemon and subculture. You'd really harm the Barista article by trying to cover the bikini barista thing there. --Milowenthasspoken 05:58, 23 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose - I'm not sure which article Milo is reading, but the two go hand in hand. The Baristas company seems to be one that started this trend. But quite frankly, the Bikini article is better developed and should stand alone. It also needs the emergence of these types of businesses across the country such as Las Vegas and Miami. --Scalhotrod - Just your average banjo playing, drag racing, cowboy... • Oppose - The bikini baristas go way beyond just this one company, and they deserve their own, stand-alone article IMO. Guy1890 (talk) 23:34, 23 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Going to remove the merge suggestion, this isn't going to go anywhere.--Milowenthasspoken 17:01, 29 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Quality[edit]

This article looks like it has enough sources, but just needs to be expanded for B class Carmelator (talk) 06:34, 25 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Locations[edit]

An IP was edit-warring to remove the list of locations, and has now been blocked.

Did anyone bother to check the IP's claims? And why edit-war to include UNSOURCED information? Where's that list come from?

I've been plugging the listed addresses into Google Maps, and I'm either getting "Permanently closed" listings or nothing at all. Something smells here, and it isn't fresh-roasted coffee. --Calton | Talk 17:38, 10 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

And, I found this press release: [1]: "Baristas Coffee Co. Shutters All Retail Locations, Going Wholesale & Direct"

The more I'm seeing, the less I'm seeing any real claim of notability for this company. --Calton | Talk 17:48, 10 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
