Legaspi[edit]

Didn't Manila first get taken by Legaspi in 1571? Alternativity (talk) 17:08, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How many battles of Manila are there?[edit]

The article said Manila was destroyed 9 times and they have sources for it but now I ask, how many "Battles of Manila" are really there anyway? Take for example in WW2; at least 2 battles for Manila occurred: when the Japanese invaded it and when the Allied forces retook it or during the British Occupation where 3 battles occurred not one, 1st when it was taken by the British; next, when it was retaken by Simon Anda and then the Chinese Revolt which happened afterwards. How about the Battle of La Naval De Manila?

Considering this, shouldn't we expand the current roster from 9 battles of Manila to 12?

I hope this gets solved soon. Gintong Liwanag Ng Araw (talk) 16:22, 9 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is not an article but a disambiguation page and as such should only have links to (1) actual articles that (2) might be titled or confused with an article titled "Battle of Manila". This page is not intended to inform but rather intended to help people search for the right article.--Iloilo Wanderer (talk) 03:17, 12 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Possible Vandalism[edit]

Somebody added 3 more battles of Manila which strictly speaking are not even military battles but are more like coup-de-tats that occured around the time of the People Power Uprising and the worse thing about it is its so haphazardly made and pockmarked with wrong grammar. Should we delete this? Gintong Liwanag Ng Araw (talk) 16:11, 3 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Removed those and cleaned up page per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Disambiguation pages --Iloilo Wanderer (talk) 03:15, 12 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
