Subject notability of article[edit]

The Oregonian, Oregon's largest newspaper, often mentions BlueOregon in articles about local and Oregon politics such as here, here and here. BlueOregon is an often cited political news blog, used in numerous articles on Oregon politics and elected officials such as here, here and here. Good, BlueOregon is notable without question. However, we should not generally be using it as a reliable source; BlueOregon has no formal fact-checking or editorial process, its contributors simply publish on their own authority. There may be occasional exceptions depending on the context (for example, BlueOregon has a clear track record of confirming the identity of prominent contributors, so it may be acceptable to use it as a source confirming that a person made a specific statement). -Pete (talk) 00:45, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

After the keep decision for Kari Chisholm, I propose we merge content from here to that page and redirect BlueOregon to Kari Chisholm. - Enos733 (talk) 16:43, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Strong agree. I've already moved all of the relevant content to the Kari Chrisholm article and left a note on the Talk page there. NASAvegas (talk) 23:16, 25 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
