Not making sense to me[edit]

  • "Lt.Col. Merritt, VC, is also remembered in 'MERRITT DRIVE' in the City of Windsor, Ontario - the City which provided the Essex Scottish Regiment who assaulted 'Red Beach', Dieppe, as the South Saskatchewans were assaulting 'Green Beach' It is next to 'TILSTON DRIVE' which refers to Major Fred Tilston VC, of the Essex Scottish Regt. who got his VC in Germany in 1945. Canada's Fighting Men - a Lawyer and a Pharmacist - Both VC's - Both showing the professionals how it's done..."
