Did Moroz - (Grandfather Frost)[edit]

This includes many Christmas traditions - they may not be followed by all Ukrainians. Bobanni (talk) 11:22, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Did Moroz has absolutely nothing to do with Christmas. Please show at least one prooflink otherwise. He is usually part of New Year celebrations, and New Year gifts, not Christmas gifts. Also, the gifts that Svyatyi Mykolai gives are not related to Christmas. The fact that other cultures have traditions to give gifts on Christmas doesn't make gifts from Svyatyi Mykolai and Did Moroz equal to Christmas gifts. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.52.14.154 (talk) 09:54, 27 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! Did Moroz was a Soviet invention, and has nothing to do with Christmas. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lubap (talkcontribs) 15:28, 14 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Confused[edit]

I'm not sure how to interpret the first sentence. Does Christmas Eve really last from December 24 to January 6? 2600:1008:B021:B08:BDF1:9027:3819:84A5 (talk) 15:01, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
