Talk:Club Filter Melbourne

First of all, big apologies for making a series of errors here - I was composing the entry online, and not in sandbox, so speedy deletion got added before I finished the entry. Sorry about that!

Club Filter is (and was) Melbourne's longest running techno club, and had a lot of impact on the local scene there, on local producers and DJs, and brought many vital internationals to the city. You'll still see its influence cited on Aussie forum sites like In The Mix (http://www.inthemix.com.au) and Melbourne Beats (http://melbournebeats.com/) 4 years after the club closed.

I hope it's OK to leave as an entry on Wikipedia, but understand if you choose to delete it.

Notability

I think even though Nina doesn't know about Wikipedia conventions sufficient has been done to show notability. I have asked Nina if the free text references can be changed to actual citations - if dates are added to the references already in this article then multiple, non-trivial, reliable secondary sources are provided and this is clearly a notable institution.Garrie 01:14, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
