Cotai JetCotai Water Jet – the offical name of the company has been changed, see offical website for more details http://www.cotaiwaterjet.com/. Relisted. BDD (talk) 18:03, 23 April 2014 (UTC) 202.175.168.8 (talk) 04:31, 16 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. Proposal completely ignores both policy and instructions. You may also find Wikipedia:official names helpful in understanding what those say. Andrewa (talk) 10:44, 23 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support: There is certainly no policy against using the official names of things; we usually do so except when it conflicts sharply with other policies and guidelines, e.g. when a different name is provably more common. I see no evidence here that "Cotai Jet" usage dwarfs that of "Cotai Water Jet", much less than anyone would be misled or confused by the change. The rationales at WP:OFFICIALNAMES are not really applicable here: there are no obscurity, competing authorities or undue maintenance issues raised by this move. There is no "once named, don't move it" principle here.  — SMcCandlish ¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ʌ≼  10:29, 25 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
