Inofficial license plate codes[edit]

There are official license plate codes based on the Conventions on Road Traffic of Geneva (1949) and Vienna (1968); and there are additional half-official ones, internationally recognized in their usage. Find them listed here or here. But ovales with other, inofficial codes are on the brink of being joke items, like e.g. AXA for Anguilla.
