Royal Visit[edit]

In the second paragraph it states: "Edward VIII[citation needed] visited in 1903."

Are you sure? Edward VIII would only have been 8 or 9 years old at that time. On the other hand his grandfather, Edward VII, would have been the reigning monarch in 1903.

A 'Vintage postcard of King Edward visiting Cromlix House, Dunblane' was sold on Ebay on 17 Apr, 2013 for £4.79.
Sotheby's sold in November 2009, a set of 12 mahogany chairs, one bearing a brass label THE CHAIR OCCUPIED BY/ HIS MAJESTY KING EDWARD VII/ WHEN ENTERTAINED TO LUNCHEON BY/ LT. COL. AND MRS ARTHUR HAY DRUMMOND/AT CROMLIX HOUSE, AFTER HIS MAJESTY/HAD OPENED THE QUEEN VICTORIA SCHOOL/ DUNBLANE 28TH SEPTEMBER 1908
