first zero-g in switzerland is important, Zero G flight are notable[edit]

I think this is important enough to bring it here on the History part of LSMD. It was published in many newspapers (print& online and the swiss TV mad a special Docu about this.

On 22. and 23. October 2015, for the first time on Swiss soil, was made with a large aircraft Zero-G parabolic flights from Dübendorf Air Base. These were carried out on behalf of the ETH Zurich for scientific experiments. There are interests to use the aerodrome in future for such scientific Zero-G parabolic flights.

Oh, yes, it can still be unimportant. Wikipedia has a wider scale that Switzerland alone. And a local event seldom has an international relevance. It is a commercial company performing those flights, you just hire them... The Banner talk 10:31, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
An individual flight is not notable in itself but the fact that Dübendorf is now being used for them is, e.g. see here and here. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 10:47, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
To my opinion the flights are given more weight than they deserve, making it promotional. The Banner talk 11:50, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I see what you mean. I have now trimmed them back a bit. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 12:35, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Beside that, FFA P-16 tends to see everything in relation to the Swiss Air Force as extremely important. no matter how minor it in fact is. The Banner talk 13:25, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
True. A useful foil to those who know little and care less. Just as well the likes of you and me come somewhere in between. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 14:41, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
