Lucie leaving[edit]

Can you provide reliable sources confirming that? I note that their official website currently refers to "the Dolly Rockers", rather than "The Dolly Rockers", suggesting "the" isn't part of the name. Adambro (talk) 11:34, 23 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Their Twitter also refers to "the Dolly Rockers", noting the lowercase "the". I note their single artwork only mentions "Dolly Rockers". WP:THE states that "In all cases, default to the form of the name that is actually used by the band themselves, and use "(band)" to disambiguate if necessary." That conflicts with **WP:COMMONNAME, as outside of the official site, "The" is omitted or in lowercase, and not part of the name.   - The guideline doesn't say that. Condition 2 contains the words, "would be capitalized", not "would always be capitalized" or "would almost exclusively be capitalized"; in this case it's inconclusive. In the "Names of groups, sports teams and companies section, it recommends that "The" should be included if it's almost exclusively capitalised, but that the default is to use the official name - "Eagles" is preferred over "The Eagles" because it's the official name, not because default is not to use "The". Dolly Rockers → The Dolly Rockers – I know it's only been a few days, but here's more evidence of the "The". Their official website, fashion blog, YouTube account, Twitter feed and Facebook page.
