Pictures[edit]

What sort of pictures do we need for this article. The one is use isn't too bad.--Bedford 04:49, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, the externals of the building don't provide much for photo taking. As far as the inside is concerned, I'm not sure if those who run the place would allow picture taking in there, esp. for use in the Wikipedia. Hopefully, they do, but I just don't know. Stevie is the man! TalkWork 04:57, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I took inside pictures, with none that someone had to pay money to see, so these should be cool.--Bedford 00:45, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Museum Lobby Photo[edit]

The picture of the lobby is out of date; I was just there today, and it's been changed. I forgot to bring a camera today, but if anyone has a picture of the new lobby, maybe they could help us out with an update? --Cerebellum (talk) 02:11, 29 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is? I go there often and haven't noticed. I'll see what I can do.--Gen. Bedford his Forest 02:25, 29 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Language of article[edit]

I propose that "War of Northern Aggression" be changed to regular old "American Civil War". First off, I've never heard that phrase used by any Louisvillians (or anyone else from the area) barring Civil War reenactors in character. Secondly, the language is quite provocative and is definitely not the neutral tone an encyclopedia should have. Finally, Kentucky never seceded from the Union, so technically they would have been "aggressors" for the most part. Mtndrums (talk) 08:31, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As someone who has lived in KY all his life and Louisville for the past 19 years, I can say that I have NEVER heard anyone call the American Civil War the "War of Northern Aggression". 99% of Southerners don't call it that; in fact this entry is the first time I have seen it used by someone who was born within the past 100 or so years. The Civil War ended almost 150 years ago. If you are holding a grudge over the Union victory, you really need to get a life. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.141.154.101 (talk) 16:00, 9 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
