Untitled[edit]

I've come across a tradition that states "You cannot be a real Capetonian until you've eaten a Gatsby". This same statement was offered me by 4 or 5 members of the Cape Coloured population group. I'm an import (from up-country) and after 10 years did my duty.

The list of the "Best Places To Eat..." has been removed. Copied from a travel blog site (which fails WP:RS) such lists are subjective and spamish.Plutonium27 (talk) 23:43, 24 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Where to find them... Unnecessary[edit]

Gatsby's are available at a wide variety of locations throughout the Western Cape. I think this list doesn't belong on this page, as it basically only serves as an advertisement space. I would like to remove it... Wilro (talk) 13:59, 16 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"ensuring that you stay filled for less ... with you taste of polony, Vienna, Russian, chicken, fish or steak"[edit]

stay filled = a food that fills your stomach
for less = cheap takeaway
with you taste of = what does this mean? perhaps a misspelt idiom "with your taste of" = with your choice of

Healthier Options[edit]

This section seems unnecessary. I suggest removing much of this content and condensing "healthier options" into the "recipes" section.
