Sudbury Mixup[edit]

I'm not very familiar with the format for discussion, but when this article is written more in depth, please mention the geographic mix-up spoken by the FBI agent talking to Mohinder. He mentions that Eden was found, to paraphrase, "in a lake in Sudbury, 100 miles out of Ontario." This is confusing, as Sudbury is IN Ontario. I'm not sure what they meant when writing this, but it was possibly just a simple error.

Thanks a bunch! Shelley, January 22, 2007131.104.226.33 03:11, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing Toronto and Ontario? AnonMoos 03:54, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
They mentioned Lake Ramsey, I heard it, a friend heard it and my mother heard it too, and technically that lake is in Sudbury. And lets not forget, you can easily drive 160 km in Sudbury and still be in the city.... Anung Mwka 03:56, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, I mean the way he said it he sounded like he was confusing Toronto with Ontario. I'm sure the lake is there, its just that Sudbury is IN Ontario, and to say 100 km OUT of Ontario is a glaring error. I think AnonMoos is correct in assuming they mistook Toronto for Ontario, although I don't know how they could have done that. Shelley131.104.226.33 14:17, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Name of Kensai?[edit]

What is the name of the Kensai that had the sword that Hiro wanted? Siyavash 05:29, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's Tazeko Kensai, but it appears to be a fictional character invented for the television series. Oops! Siyavash 17:54, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
A quick wikipedia search I found an article Miyamoto Musashi also referred to as Takezo Kensai. Are you sure it was a fictional character invented for the series? Perhaps you can cite something in regards to that. For now I think I'll go and change the redirect for Takezo Kensai away from here, to the Miyamoto Musashi article unless someone objects. --Paultran 02:34, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Just a follow up on Miyamoto Musashi. I noticed in Godsend, when Hiro sees the sword on the armour for the first time, the scene changes to a placard with: Takezo Kensei (1584- [sic]. Note two things, one is that the name is misspelt as Kensei. I assume this is a production error because later on, subtitles correctly spell it as Takezo Kensai. However, the important part is the birth year 1584. Miyamoto's birth year is also 1584. I don't think that's just a coincidence. --Paultran 03:07, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If we have sufficient reason to believe that Takezo Kensei is Musashi, then you did the right thing. One thing to consider is that Miyamoto Musashi was supposedly undefeated, so I would find it hard to believe that there is another kenshi born on the same year as Musashi with even greater notoreity. I agree with your statements. Siyavash 03:29, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Takezo Kensai is not an alternate name for Miyamoto Musashi. If you read that on the WP page for him, I'd suspect vandalism or misinformed edits. Takezo is Musashi's given name and Kensei is a title that was bestowed upon him. It is a clear allusion to him and probably a homage, but they are most certainly not the same person. [edit]

Why is it we have a link to the kanji character 与 instead of just putting it in the article's text its self? --Billdorr 06:11, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup[edit]

As I've stated before,[1][2] plot summaries divided by character don't work for episodes, especially Heroes. These characters are interacting...now more than ever. This is the time for concise summaries of events, not mini character profiles. Ace Class Shadow; My talk. 02:20, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Holy crap. For once, we agree. dposse 04:31, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Not surprising. I used pseudo-citation in my actual comment. Ace Class Shadow; My talk. 04:41, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like someone copy-pasted a summary from somewhere else. --ParalysedBeaver 04:52, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

--I'm going to try and edit the article to shorten it. I do agree that the summaries will have to get longer as the characters interact more, however. -Wilfredo Martinez 05:05, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I cleaned up the plot summary a bit.. its way shorter now, but I don't know if the events were originally in order or what not since I wasn't using any reference, so it may still need some work.  Anticrash  talk  16:15, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You guys think the plot is clean enough to remove the plot template?  Anticrash  talk  06:54, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

business card picture.[edit]

Can anyone please upload a picture of that business card? Since it's a clue to the Experience, it would be nice to have. dposse 03:20, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Narration.[edit]

I know that there was Narration by Mohinder. Can someone please put that in the article? thanks. dposse 15:36, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Soojmagooj 08:02, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Great job! Thank you. dposse 14:30, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Eccleston character name[edit]

Having seen this episode and the next, I really wonder whether the character name is, in fact, Claude. The way the line is rendered, it seems to be untruthful, as if he was deliberately trying to obscure his true identity. It felt like the line could have been, "I'm Cladue F*ing Raines to you" and had the same basic meaning. Anyone else think we should hedge a bit on the description this article gives of the Eccleston character's name? Perhaps language like, "a man who says his name is Claude" or something? CzechOut 01:33, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Especially since his name is NOT Claude Rains. The statement refers to the actor who played the Invisible Man in the movie.--Syd Henderson 17:08, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
