Gotham Book Mart Services[edit]

In the article on Henry Miller, it's commented that he sent his ex-wife money through the Gotham Book Mart and I wondered if it served as more than just a bookstore and literary salon but provided other kind of services (like money transfers) for its regular clients. This would have happened close to 50 years ago so it wouldn't have occurred under Brown's ownership. 63.143.234.56 (talk) 20:59, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

All sources referenced in writing the Gotham Book Mart article didn't mention any other services, so it could be supposed that this was done as an informal favor on the part of staff for Henry Miller. In all other places the Gotham was referred to as a book shop and literary salon / literary club meeting place. Silver (talk) 19:14, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
