Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because this man meets the WP:GNG and WP:NACTOR criteria. The original article had not demonstrated this appropriately, but after further work and editing, the new page now has completely new and appropriate content. Notability is demonstrated by secondary sources, in award nominations and wins from the entertainment industry. James Bamford is the President of the largest stunt organisation in Canada, and has non-temporary notability due to his extensive career (20 years in the business), notoriety for both past and present TV shows as well as movies. He has a significant international cult following of long-standing, as seen in the picture which was uploaded to Wikipedia 7 years ago as well as the comic con-type appearances over many years and ongoing. Stunt coordination and performing cannot be dismissed as not significant as a role in the entertainment industry. Again I point to the awards and numerous credits on iMDB. Every one of the 18 references in the article is (arguably) independent, and verifiable. I recommend that the article is not deleted now that it has been revised and content made appropriate. --Fififolle (talk) 11:43, 27 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Suggest moving to draft[edit]

An alternative if this is acceptable to all would be to move the article to draft to allow time for the further improvement of the article with more content and references. I have content to add to the article. This suggestion is not meant as a circumvention but just to give more time for editing. I believe the goal for all should be to get the most authoritative article on the subject.
