Dates need checking[edit]

The statement "In April 1843 Blackburn was assigned as an Engineer to the Roads Department according to an entry in the "Blue Book" in 1839. In August 1834 he handed in a report..." contains conflicting dates, with the date of the reference being before the fact it refers to. What did the original writer intend in this article. Will refer back to ADB entry for confirmation...sinarau (talk) 12:21, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
