Lieutenant colonel[edit]

I find that hard to believe too, but he is usually known as "Col James K. Johnson" in most of the sources I saw. ~Hue Sat Lum 23:02, 19 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

P-47 Lightning?[edit]

Was it a P-38 Lightning or a P-47 Thunderbolt that he downed the FW-190? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.164.233.149 (talk) 14:45, 19 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The source says "P-47 Lightning," which is probably a typo, but 31.185.249.65 changed it to say a Thunderbolt. ~Hue Sat Lum 23:02, 19 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
