Expand Lead[edit]

Have added considerable material to Lead about Lindsay's naval career. Lindsay is not notable for having illegitimate children, even one of mixed race. What was notable was that he did not leave her in slavery, but entrusted her to his uncle to be raised free in England, and his uncle had the girl educated and essentially treated as one of the family.Parkwells (talk) 19:14, 28 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sir John Lindsay's children[edit]

The lede references all three of Lindsay's reported children, but the main article only mentioned two, Dido and John. Are there any sources to confirm the claim that all three had different mothers?
