Taller than the Eiffel Tower?[edit]

The tower..was to have a 40-meter high shortwave aerial on top which would have brought it to a height of 283 meters, but it was not allowed according to the Treaty of Versailles because it would then have had a greater height than the Eiffel Tower.

That makes no sense. The Eiffel Tower is over 300m. --Doradus (talk) 13:42, 1 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
