Birthdate?[edit]

Various sites on the Internet list two different pieces of information for her for her birth. Some sites state she was born in Maryland on February 3, 1972, other sites claims she was born in Memphis on December 5, 1971. Does anyone know which answer is actually correct? Both dates seem to have a lot of support. D'Amico 05:53, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

maybe this is an old discussion but i could conferm she's from dec 5 1971. The birthdate feb 3 1972 is been wrongly posted is a site and copied in some other site. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.12.222.26 (talk) 10:03, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

She also posted a birthday party from the set of "Liv and Maddie" on her twitter page from 2014, with the date being December 5. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 03:17, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure that's acceptable as a source. My birthday was on April 3, but I'm having a party in mid-May since that's when the bulk of my friends are available. In any event, I'm removing it for now, as when the date was added no citation was provided. Welcome to re-add with a citation, though I'd prefer a better one than Twitter. Every single other source claims she was born on December 5, 1971 in Memphis. I don't know where D'Amico got February 3, 1972 in Maryland from. I can see why you'd be cynical about IMDb as a source, but IBDB says the same thing. And certainly twitter itself isn't a reliable source, but if it's her own twitter page, it should be reasonably acceptable. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 14:11, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
IBDB sounds good to me, just needs a specific citation. Problem solved. DonIago (talk) 16:13, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Great. Now I've got a few screen caps showing Rocha as one of the writers of certain Liv and Maddie episodes. If you'd like, I can also grab some with her co-writing Space Station '76. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 18:01, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Photo posting policies are something I'm more fuzzy on here. Screencaps in particular may be a no-no due to WP:COPYVIO concerns... That said, thank you for your work on improving the article! DonIago (talk) 18:53, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Your welcome, but I wasn't specifically planning on adding the screencaps themselves to Wikipedia or the commons. Just the links to them. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 19:53, 26 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ethnic heritage[edit]

Despite the recent edit from this anonymous IP, from what I've read, she's actually more of Portuguese descent. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 20:36, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The Buffy part is slightly wrong[edit]

Halfrek was a recurring role. Cecily, however, was a one-and-done. (19th Century flashback, actually.) 108.49.30.176 (talk) 08:26, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The sentence as worded was a little ambiguous (it gets more ambiguous if you consider that Cecily is apparently canonically Halfrek as well). I've tweaked it to try to separate Rocha's recurring role as Halfrek from her appearance as Cecily. DonIago (talk) 14:33, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
