Linda Ronstadt discography formatting[edit]

Hey everyone! I really appreciate the full discography on her page, however it needs some cleaning up. For one thing, the albums recorded as part of The Stone Poneys needs to be moved to their own article, as this discography only shows Linda Ronstadt's singles as a solo recording artist. Second of all, I would like to reformat the album tables so it signifies the year, album label, etc. This would follow the format of the Wikipedia:WikiProject Discographies/style that is really recommended on all discographies. This means I would also like to create an overview, indicate music videos, and other appearances, etc. Check out some of the FA discography articles, such as the Diamond Rio discography and the Dido discography, and you'll get the idea. What do all of you think? Dottiewest1fan (talk) 21:11, 13 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mambo Kings[edit]

I'm afraid that you have missed Linda Ronstadt's collaboration in "Mambo Kings" with two tracks: Quiéreme and Perfidia. Lele giannoni (talk) 14:41, 29 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No Platinum Collection?[edit]

Granted, it's just a greatest hits album, but I notice that The Platinum Collection from 2007 is absent from this discography. --GentlemanGhost (converse) 19:54, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Track listing[edit]

A nice tracklisting is at http://pastebin.com/XtqX9wM6. All the best: Rich Farmbrough13:26, 8 November 2014 (UTC).

Any way to add an item to this discography?[edit]

Would it be possible/appropriate to document Ms Ronstadt's role in the pioneering 'Escalator over the Hill', Carla Bley and Paul Haines' experimental opera from 1968-1971?

Stone Poneys[edit]

The Stone Poneys albums and singles should be included on this discography, as she was the lead singer of the group and Capitol promoted her over the band, such as naming the group's third album Linda Ronstadt, Stone Poneys and Friends, Vol. III. 70.73.90.119 (talk) 06:10, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Other works[edit]

There are a few recordings omitted here, such as the Broadway cast album for Pirates of Penzance and Philip Glass' 1000 Airplanes on the Roof on which she was a lead vocalist. I don't think a recording was issued of her performance of La Boheme, though. 70.73.90.119 (talk) 16:33, 1 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, also her session on Music from Free Creek. rootsmusic (talk) 16:16, 9 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
