This article was nominated for deletion on 29 August 2008 (UTC). The result of the discussion was merge to Caló (Chicano).

The article Calo (Chicano slang) is not a duplicate of Caló (Chicano) * DO NOT REDIRECT * There are reasons for the existence of these two separate articles, i.e., primarily the difference on the spelling of the word "Calo" vs "Caló"; and the former's desire to maintain a list of Chicano slang / Calo words and expressions while the later desires to "not" maintain such a list. Proposed rename[edit]

Since most of what is here is already in the main article, I propose paring this down to a list and renaming it List of Chicano Caló words and expressions. I like the format of Wikipedia:Lists#Definition_lists, but am open to suggestions. I'd also prefer a table, but those tend to be discouraged for lists, so I'll wait until others chime in before making major changes. Unless anyone has any major problems with the rename, I'll do it soon.--Rockero 16:34, 4 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
