NOTE[edit]

The article Calo (Chicano slang) is not a duplicate of Caló (Chicano) * DO NOT REDIRECT * There are reasons for the existence of these two separate articles, i.e., primarily the difference on the spelling of the word "Calo" vs "Caló"; and the former's desire to maintain a list of Chicano slang / Calo words and expressions while the later desires to "not" maintain such a list. These are two very big differences. Space needs to be maintained for both of these respective directions to flourish. Cityside Seraph 06:14, 3 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed rename[edit]

Since most of what is here is already in the main article, I propose paring this down to a list and renaming it List of Chicano Caló words and expressions. I like the format of Wikipedia:Lists#Definition_lists, but am open to suggestions. I'd also prefer a table, but those tend to be discouraged for lists, so I'll wait until others chime in before making major changes. Unless anyone has any major problems with the rename, I'll do it soon.--Rockero 16:34, 4 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Who made this?[edit]

There are many inaccuracies made by someone who is not a mexican spanish speaker, I will try to correct as many as possible. I speak like this in my everyday language. --GodEmperorOfHell 04:54, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Gee thanks.--Rockero 17:55, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Clarification[edit]

What do yu mean by "with altered meaning"? This doesn't make sense to me. Perhaps an elaboration ot a rephrasing is in order?--Rockero 17:55, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
