Photos[edit]

Nice work, you scooped me on this article. I've got some nice pictures of Fisher School and Yachats I can add. Katr67 22:19, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Resources[edit]

I searched on Oregon Covered Bridges TR (theme resource--this is an NRHP designation) and came up with some more resources. I wonder which one is still missing? Katr67 22:39, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

GET GOING TAKE COVER UNDER SOME OF OREGON'S 51 COVERED BRIDGES. The Oregonian, November 25, 2001, TERRY RICHARD. Aboutmovies (talk) 07:15, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Format[edit]

I don't know how to make the photos play nicely with the table. Can we add a field for the stream each crosses? Katr67 23:16, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just stack the photos at the top with the others (in alphabetical order), using the same formatting - they'll run down the right side of the article and shouldn't interfere with the table. We can add a field, but I don't have time to do it now. I'll try to check over the weekend to see if it still needs to be done. Nice work on finding the 'missing' entries! — Zaui (talk) 23:27, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The easiest method would to simply use the Gallery function. Will solve any formatting problems you have with table interaction. See its usage on Covered bridge. Just remember not to overpopulate the article...if you find yourself with more than, say, eight, I would suggest creating a gallery over on Commons and moving these images there (if they don't exist there already). -- Huntster T@C 01:30, 3 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Names of bridges/articles[edit]

I changed a few names of bridges to the name they are listed under in the NRHP, and they got changed back. No big deal, just FYI. If articles are made for those bridges, please create the necessary redirects. I also changed the name of the article, not realizing there was a whole series of these for each state. It's more important for categories, but I believe that "List of Foos in Foobar" is the naming convention and that all the bridge lists might need to be renamed eventually. Katr67 16:23, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I expect the mention of renaming refers to the sources conflicting for the names
  • Thomas Creek-Gilkey vs. Gilkey
  • Crabtree Creek-Hoffman vs. Hoffman
  • Thomas Creek-Shimanek vs. Shimanek
The left column is the names originally in the article, probably from National Register of Historic Places; the right column I got from http://coveredbridges.stateoforegon.com/. —EncMstr 02:16, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

GNIS feature names[edit]

I edited the GNIS citations so that they correspond to the GNIS feature names. I don't see this as a matter of preference. Hope this is OK. --droll [chat] 04:53, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Thanks for pointing out the error. Deor (talk) 11:21, 26 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Gallery[edit]

Instead of having a gallery, we could insert the images into a table. MB298 (talk) 00:37, 12 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
