Skiing Deaths to be added[edit]

Can somebody else please add ski racer Laura Flood, died 1989. http://www.cubuffs.com/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=204931157 I don't want to accidentally wreck the formatting and article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.32.35.207 (talk) 17:35, 24 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Snowboarding deaths[edit]

As I would like to split the snowboarding lists off the List of sportspeople who have died during their playing career list, can snowboarding be included here, considering they both involves going downhill in snowy hills. Willirennen 22:40, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Six monthis later and no answer, look like this means yes, I can. Willirennen (talk) 02:30, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This article includes those who died in avalanches. Technically, this isn't a skiing death, it is an avalanche death and shouldn't really be included. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.124.149.222 (talk) 23:46, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Skiing deaths or deaths coincident to skiing?[edit]

Should Edward LaChapelle really be on this list? He had a heart attack while skiing, but his death isn't really a result of skiing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.90.117.70 (talk) 23:50, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The sorting by "Date of Accident" doesn't work correctly[edit]

It simply doesn't work and I can't find the cause. I found the cause (two causes actually). One is that it doesn't work for all the dates with <ref> notes at the end, and one single case was in Claude Nobs's case where after the date of accident also the date of death (i.e. "d. 2013-1-10") was added into new paragraph.

For example in the descending order it works ok until year 1984, then it gets broken (to the bottom it's followed by 2001, 1970, 1988 etc., so totally wrong)

The strange thing is that they are sorted correctly when you visit the article for the first time. But then when you try to sort manually, the dates become mixed-up. --Wayfarer (talk) 04:00, 27 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
