Untitled[edit]

Lorinda Cherry was a programmer of whom little is known but made important contributions of Unix and computer science during her time. I think her page must be retained.

Unfortunately Wikipedia notability guidelines are based around verifiability of references to 3rd party reliable sources. If little is known then this person likely wont meet notability guidelines. The 2 sources given are a blog and paper produced for a collegiate course. Neither of which can be considered reliable sources. --RadioFan (talk) 14:30, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lorinda Cherry (Lorinda L. Cherry) is quoted as contributor in a film hosted by Victor Vyssotsky. Lorinda L. Cherry is presenting UNIX in about minute 13:50 in a remarkable little film to be found here: https://techchannel.att.com/playvideo/2014/01/27/ATT-Archives-The-UNIX-System-Making-Computers-Easier-to-Use (remark by Dietmar Wilkens, 2021) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A01:C22:B4FA:56FF:4647:A38E:9F0B:35CF (talk) 21:23, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
