Is the LMS-USA defunct?[edit]

The congregation of the LMS-USA's president, St. Matthew Lutheran in Indianapolis, has closed and is now a satellite location for Cornerstone Lutheran Church in Carmel, Indiana. This apparently took place around 2020, although I have not found any news sources concerning it. The congregations that were involved in the events leading up to the founding of the LMS-USA now appear to be members of the Association of American Lutheran churches, but I don't known whether they had ever actually left the AALC in the first place. The website doesn't appear to have been updated in several years. The only evidence I could find about the current status of the LMS-USA is that they were no longer listed as a member church body of the International Lutheran Council as of December 2021, which I added to the article. Does anyone have any more details? Indyguy (talk) 04:09, 26 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
