Vandalism[edit]

This is beyond absurd: despite the fact that a compromise has been reached on this issue, a couple of people still feel the need to vandalize these pages.

As per below, the compromise that was agreed to (over a year ago) was that leaving in 'often referred' Is the solution:

"I agree 100% with Billcasey905. I'm fine with it saying that it is often referred to **insert name** with the source that is given, that's why I didn't revert Pncomeaux's edits. Until the other nicknames become a common name, it should stay as is. Corkythehornetfan 19:47, 27 May 2015 (UTC)"

Yet people continue to wreak havoc with the pages.

It must be noted that the school's legal, acceptable nickname of 'Louisusana Ragin Cajuns' can in NO WAY be considered to be "misleading propaganda."Pncomeaux (talk) 18:46, 1 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Changing Article Name to Russo Park[edit]

The stadium has been renovated and is slated to open March 3rd under the name "Russo Park." If we get technical here (and I don't see why we would), perhaps Russo Park at M. L. Tigue Moore Field. I think it should be completely updated to reflect the changes. Also, capacity will now be 5,000. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zephyr 11 (talkcontribs) 05:46, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps. See WP:COMMONNAME which governs. UW Dawgs (talk) 06:10, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
If we went with the common name here, it'd be "The Tigue" which was the most used common name before this year. I was suggesting the article be renamed to the official name, which has changed. Russo Park has become the common name since construction. D1Baseball.com uses Russo Park now. (talk
Perhaps. Links which support your (3) edits are in order. UW Dawgs (talk) 21:39, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
https://d1baseball.com/roundup/d1-digest-friday-march-3/ http://www.katc.com/story/34041033/russo-park-will-be-ready-for-cajuns-home-opener-march-3 and http://espn1420.com/vital-seating-and-parking-information-for-russo-park/ Even d1baseball.com uses Russo Park. Also, my capacity number is wrong. The official capacity from UL's website is listed as 4,650 (http://www.ragincajuns.com/news/2017/3/20/cajuns-baseball-to-host-houston-and-tulane-in-the-midweek.aspx) (Since I am relatively new to this, in general should I shorten links when posting? Thanks) Zephyr 11 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 22:25, 20 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
