Extremely ambiguous: Too many hospitals named "Mercy Medical Center" in the US.[edit]

Mercy Medical Center is a name used by many hospitals within the United States. While this is not a comprehensive list, the following hospitals with the name of Mercy in their names are located in the state of Iowa alone: Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines; Mercy in Iowa City; Mercy in Mason City; Mercy at Dubuque; Mercy Hospital in Clinton; Mercy Sioux City; Mercy at New Hampton; Alegent Health Mercy Hospital in Corning; Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs; and the list goes on. With the number of hospitals and medical centers not only in the State of Iowa, but within the United States, it is unrealistic to dedicate one page to one specific Mercy Medical Center in one town in Iowa.

This article thus needs to either be removed, or to be renamed to specifically refer to this one hospital in the Cedar Rapids area, and to allow articles talking about the other Mercy Medical Centers on Wikipedia. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lisarubenking (talkcontribs) 18:30, 8 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Agreed. I have moved it, though the disambiguation page is going to be a little scanty for now until someone has more information. B-May 10:13, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

It was still pretty ambiguous, I moved it to something even less ambigous and more consistent with other pages. HDow 05:12, 16 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
