Title[edit]

Used "(ship)" as this is a type of ship, contains listing of the individual ships and helps place the topic. That might not be the best description and perhaps needs changing. "Ship Type" perhaps? Palmeira (talk) 15:56, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

27-28 July 2013 moved to Mine planter (U.S. Army) after removal of Hashima-class cable layer from "See also" section. While a worldwide piece might be useful the focus here is on vessels of the U.S. Army Mine Planter Service (USAMPS) and its predecessor organization. Attempting to expand that into some sort of worldwide discussion or listing would, in my view, make for a cluttered and unfocused article. A section providing brief mention and links to analogous vessels in other services is of value and it could be expanded into a bullet list of such services even though only the one immediate case is now linked. If enough other cases and articles become available a worldwide category of something such as "Mine planting vessels" might be useful for association. Suggestion[edit]

Just a quick suggestion, but the citations to websites could be formatted using the {{cite web}} template. This would tidy up the references and remove the long url chains that are currently showing. Also references to the same source can be consolidated per WP:NAMEDREFS. Cheers. — AustralianRupert (talk) 06:54, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, a better way. Palmeira (talk) 13:17, 28 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
