"As a result of his Confucian conservatism, Minh Mạng allowed little innovation in Vietnamese society, and in time its military in particular became antiquated." Renaming of Vietnam to Dai Viet[edit]

His renaming of Vietnam to "Dai Viet" should be mentioned. Badagnani (talk) 04:33, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

He renamed Việt Nam to Đại Nam (Great South) not Đại Việt (Great Viet).--Amore Mio (talk) 13:42, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Free sex practices[edit]
