This: "Their school's system requires her and her kawaii friends, Liam, Sandra, and Raffi to work together in a group known around the school as a "Pod." The students don't get to choose who they are partnered up with, but they have an anime time together either way, despite their differences and shortcomings."

Please wikify as follows: "The teen slice-of-life comedy follows Birch Small, a manga and anime fan with aspirations of being a comic artist, as she tries to survive high school. The show features manga symbols such as sweatdrops, speech bubbles, and super-deformed chibi characters." Also, the above paragraph is a duplicate of the one in "premise" Please remove it in the opening paragraph.

Done I left it in the lead and removed it from the premise section, as it fits better as an intro to the article. — Bility (talk) 16:48, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request from Eejay999, 29 September 2011[edit]

I'd like to add information in the "Production" section, referencing this recent interview with the My Life Me creator JC Little http://youchew.net/forum/index.php?/topic/99410-interview-with-my-life-me-creator-jc-little/

My Life Me was created in 2005. The series was a co-production between Canada and France. The episodes were animated in Canada and France using ToonBoom Harmony.

Eejay999 (talk) 13:44, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That does not appear to be a reliable sources, as it's a web forum with an informal interview; there's not really enough evidence to even verify that the interview is actually real. As such, I'm not comfortable adding that info to the article. If you do get a reliable source, feel free to change the "answered=yes" to "answered=no" and provide more info. Thank-you for your consideration! We found more sources, please review our request to add info as follows, in the "Production" section.

My Life Me received a development deal in 2006 from Teletoon. [1] The series was a co-production between Canada and France. The episodes were animated using ToonBoom Harmony, and the animation was split episodically between Toutenkartoon in Montreal, Canada, and Caribara in Angoulême, France. Backgrounds were created in Maya, then toonshaded, rendered and imported into Harmony. [2] The animators did a hybrid of digital and hand drawn to help the fluidity in the animation. Thanks for chipping in Eejay999. Out of curiosity what type of citations would be best to use to dispel the notability tag? We now have 10 citations from generally reliable sources. The coverage is "significant". The sources are independent and varied as are the stories. It doesn't go against what wiki is not. So what's next? I just wanted to inform then the link to the interview is now broken but fortunately, the Wayback Machine saved a copy of the interview. https://web.archive.org/web/20120423163408/http://youchew.net/forum/index.php?/topic/99410-interview-with-my-life-me-creator-jc-little/ --Sd-100 (talk) 11:43, 21 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I think this page should have the "Anime-influenced animation" category on it.

Done I didn't even know such a category existed! Andie ▶(Candy)◀ 16:53, 17 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This show first premiered in Poland![edit]

By looking at various things it turns out, that the show did not actually first air on Télétoon in Canada, but on ZigZap in Poland. The first episode aired on 17 March 2010 on ZigZap, compared to premiere date of 19 September 2010 on Télétoon.

Various sources: https://dubbingpedia.pl/wiki/Moje_%C5%BCycie_ze_mn%C4%85 (it has the Polish episode airdates)

There are also archived snaphots of ZigZap's website, which have the show mentioned in March 2010 schedules:
