  • Citation needed tags must be fulfilled;
  • I have added some more where they are necessary;
  • Any dead links should be fixed;
  • If "Criticism of Australian Federal Police tipoff" is indeed relevant to Myuran Sukumaran - who is not mentioned - this needs to be made clearer or the section removed if not;
  • The English should be tightened. Mostly it's not bad, but sentences like "According to Lawrence, following earlier alleged threats from Chan, on 5 April 2005 Sukumaran met with Si Yi Chen, Martin Stephens, and Lawrence at a Sydney hotel where police allege drug smuggling tools such as sealable plastic bags, medical tape, elastic waist bands and skin tight bike shorts were stuffed into the bags of Stephens and Lawrence." are just too complex to be clear. The brackets in the first sentence of the lead are unbalanced.
  • The lead should be slightly longer, and mention the nature of the appeals. (Needs to provide an adequate summary per WP:LEAD)
  • The article ought to say more about the man personally - but this sort of thoroughness is not required under the GACR
  • I'm also worried about some bias against the Indonesian authorities. Much is made of his appeals, and that of the Australian government. There is little from Indonesia in this regard. A few tweaks, such as a corresponding quotation or the Indonesian side of the story from a native newspaper would be sufficient.
  • I also raise the same image problems Jezhotwells did at Talk:Andrew Chan/GA1. If they are indeed executed, this would strengthen a claim.

Biographical Details[edit]

I'd like to see some more information on Myuran's life included. His background, upbringing, parents, career, etc are all missing - we really are just getting a story of his drug conviction and the trial from this article. Let's try and resolve this once and for all, rather than having ongoing edit wars. In the infobox, should Sukumaran's occupation be listed as drug trafficker, painter or none? WWGB (talk) 06:52, 5 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

His occupation was being in jail. They happened to let him paint. Put it this way:- If you are in another instituion, say a school, while being an amazing painter it's still no an occupation until you leave the institution and do it as a career. 5.67.167.35 (talk) 20:46, 13 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
