IP's opinion[edit]

It seems to me New Brunswick Neurological Syndrome of unknown cause belongs to polyomaviruses — Preceding unsigned comment added by 160.179.15.66 (talk) 06:10, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

So? The cause is not known. It really does not matter what you think it is, and we certainly are not going to edit the article to mention your opinion. Meters (talk) 06:14, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

8.4; More info on Marerro?[edit]

This is my first ever contribution to Wikipedia so apologies in advance if I break any standards. However, for section 8.4 (New Brunswick Oversight Committee and Clinical Review), the first sentence ends with "and seemed to raise doubts on Marerro." with citations. However, Marerro is listed nowhere else in the article. For ease of reading and comprehension, could we include a mention of Marerro and their significance somewhere prior to this sentence if it is indeed important? Otherwise the statement means nothing within the context of the Wiki page.

If I'm wrong on this; apologies in advance. But I'm willing to learn. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Synikul (talkcontribs) 03:27, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Are you sure you actually read the article? Marerro is a neurologist who referred cases to the CJDSS and who was heavily involved in the investigation. He's mentioned by name in almost every section of the article. Meters (talk) 05:44, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
But he was misspelled in that one instance; I've fixed that.-- (talk) 07:20, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. My apologies to user:Synikul for having missed that. Meters (talk) 09:00, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
And thank you. I frequently jump between sections; almost always within distal time frames. So while I feel silly and apologize for mistaking a simple typo as an error, hopefully it helps others who are trying to look for a specific thing in a specific section rather than admire the topic as a whole. Canadaland article[edit]

Canadaland recently published an article on the syndrome which may be helpful as an additional source: https://www.canadaland.com/new-brunswick-mystery-illness-documents/ . —The Editor's Apprentice (talk) 07:26, 12 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
