Needs heaps of work[edit]

For a start, the intro says "New Zealand Indoor Bowls (NZIB) is a form of Indoor bowls". It isn't. NZIB is the body which looks after indoor bowls in New Zealand. If the name of this article was "Indoor bowls in New Zealand" and then the intro and article went on to state the w.w.w. and w. we would have an encyclopedic article. We don't have an "Indoor bowls" article, I know, but someone needs to create one. I can't see that this article is the place to explain the ins and outs of the game. My 2c. NZIB is the acronym for the style of indoor bowls played in NZ, the Governing body as stated throughout the article is the NZIBF.Nzcit (talk) 02:32, 8 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hairsplitting. If the article is about indoor bowls in NZ, why have the sentence which says "New Zealand Indoor Bowls is made up of 37 centres and 767 clubs.....". That's not about " the style of indoor bowls played in NZ" you mentioned, it's about the organisation. That's my point. The article needs heaps of work. Articles for Deletion[edit]

It's been mentioned but this article needs some work. Most of the issues are related to citations. I'll be watching this page and try to do a little work on my own when I have time but I'm not knowledgeable on this subject what-so-ever. Note that the New Zealand game is different from the English game (I don't hink it has the block to prevent drives). This makes it harder to find good sources. dramatic (talk) 20:11, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

dramatic is correct, even though tens of thousands of people play the sport it is very difficult to find sources on the net and as it is quite different to the English game( No block to prevent drives, Different scale, Different laws etc.) those site are also ruled out also ruled out.Nzcit (Talk) 22:18, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
