Eric Perlmutter was voted an honorary member of the Pembroke College JCR last night (June 12th, 2005.) To our knowledge, this is the first time a current undergraduate member of another Oxford college has had such an honor bestowed upon him. Mr. Perlmutter received this honor because he is a highly integrated member of the college and has consistently lived up to its highest standards. This information may be confirmed with Pembroke JCR President Tristan de Souza. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 163.1.42.212 (talkcontribs) 18:47, 13 Jun 2005

But who is this person? Why should anyone outside Pembroke care, and what will they learn when they see this? Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 18:27, 13 Jun 2005 (UTC)

College templates

[edit]

I have created a series of templates for former students of Oxford's various colleges. There are still plenty to do, but if you want to add one of the templates to your user page then feel free. See Wikipedia:Userboxes/Education/United Kingdom/University of Oxford for complete list. Please contact me if you would like another college fast-tracked... Michael Bettaney

[edit]

Does my memory deceive me, or was Michael Bettaney a Pembrokian? William Avery 12:29, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I see "Mr Michael J Bettaney" is listed as a lost member at http://www.pmb.ox.ac.uk/Alumni/Lost_Members/1960s.php William Avery (talk) 07:22, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'll add him to the alumni list in that case. DJR (T) 15:17, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! This is a note to let the editors of this article know that File:UK-2014-Oxford-Pembroke College 04.jpg will be appearing as picture of the day on June 19, 2016. You can view and edit the POTD blurb at Template:POTD/2016-06-19. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. — Chris Woodrich (talk) 01:33, 4 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
