Updates[edit]

June 2, 2013: I have updated the Municipal Government portion of the article, and will continue to do so as more information is gathered. Much of what I've written comes from online sources and old editions of the Hamilton Spectator. The information is accurate and, I believe, provides a suitable overview of the city's civic political past. If anyone has comments, feel free to use the talk page to discuss. POV tag[edit]

I have tagged this article with the POV template because of the POV assertions in it. They have almost all been tagged with ^{[citation needed]} but they are very non-encyclopedic none the less. I've looked for sources because I do believe that Hamilton is generally a "left-wing" area, but I would prefer it be sourced and until that point this will be an article with a NPOV violation.
