Gurjars as a Punjabi tribe[edit]

This article is about the Gurjars, who are organised as a Punjabi tribe, in Punjab. Not just the widespread Gurjar tribal confederation or community, spread throughout South Asia. Scheditia (talk) 15:20, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Currently, there's a 43% duplication between this and Gurjar. Smells like WP:CFORK to me, and that is generally discouraged. This content should instead be merged back into the original article. - UtherSRG (talk) 15:24, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That definitely is not 43%. That topic is about Gurjar origin. Of course, Punjabi Gurjars are descended from the early Gurjars so the same origin scope is used. I don't get what you are trying to cook here. Scheditia (talk) 15:38, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed some information about the Gurjars, as a body of tribes and clans, that may not be relevant to the tribe of Punjab. Scheditia (talk) 15:44, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
