Quiet Power: The Secret Strengths of IntrovertsQuiet Power – Per WP:SUBTITLE. (The proposed title already serves as a redirect.) 142.160.89.97 (talk) 00:32, 9 September 2018 (UTC) --Relisting. • Oppose Seems a common name Hhkohh (talk) 01:02, 9 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Hhkohh: How do you reconcile your position with our book-specific guideline, WP:SUBTITLE, which states:

Usually, a Wikipedia article on a book (or other medium, such as a movie, TV special or video game) does not include its subtitle in the Wikipedia page name, per WP:CONCISE. The only exception to that is short article titles, for disambiguation purposes.

WP:SUBTITLE is not a policy, just a guideline, see also WP:COMMONNAME and other related policy Hhkohh (talk) 09:39, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Observation. I've found that Wayna and Briggs & Stratton use the non-generic phrase "Quiet Power". Probably, the current Quiet Power redirect should be changed to a disambiguation page, but I won't do that until the issue is resolved here.RCraig09 (talk) 02:50, 9 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@RCraig09: Given that I don't suspect that either subject would meet our notability standards, why would the book not be the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC? 142.160.89.97 (talk) 03:22, 9 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Support per 142.160.89.97 (talk) 03:22, 9 September 2018 (assuming no competing notable subjects are discovered). This book is almost certainly more specifically searched-for now, though the Wayna and Briggs & Stratton uses arose earlier. I hereby change my opinion. —RCraig09 (talk) 03:53, 9 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support I see no issue with the requested move, and it abides by the given guideline. -- AlexTW 03:35, 9 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support A quick Google search for Quiet Power only turns this book and nothing else that would likely be confused with the term. Sakura CarteletTalk 04:59, 9 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose seriously - how is this notable WP:NBOOKS?? Anyway cited guideline does not apply as disambiguation and long title are clearly beneficial to readers here, and in cases without (book) WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT works for short titles. In ictu oculi (talk) 07:29, 10 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose - guideline cited was based on a flawed assumption. Books and other media items are usually referred to the first time by the full long name and then for brevity, just continue using the short version. --Gonnym (talk) 22:00, 20 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. WP:SUBTITLE requires articles with short title to include the subtitle for disambiguation purposes, and the current title isn't extremely long enough to negate the exception. Flooded with them hundreds 05:01, 28 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
