Life span[edit]

RAF Hornchurch did not have a life span of 47 years from 1915, it closed for 10 years after the end of World War 1. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.107.0.10 (talk) 17:18, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WW1[edit]

  • The airship attributed to Lt. William Leefe-Robinson was actually not a Zeppelin but a Schutte-Lanz SL.11. It was also not the first airship destroyed. See Zeppelin for reference. I have updated the text accordingly. Snapper five (talk) 11:21, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • I have also updated the text making reference to the first engagement of an enemy airship being a pilot from Sutton's Farm (Lt John Slessor). I've also asked the Zeppelin page owners to update their text to make reference to this incident. Snapper five (talk) 11:21, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
