but roughly 70% of players hold a bachelors degree.

Huh? You know, 93.7% of statistics are made up on the spot. I suspect this is one of them. 72.200.138.86 04:54, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fenrislorsrai 19:07, 2 December 2006 (UTC) Have corrected main page because I don't have that survey available to me right now, here is the actual breakdown, per educational level as of last year. Survey data is based on responses from Rageinfo, the main mailing list for Rage. Survey and statistics compiled by head of the Rules Team, who has a degree in Sociology. High school degree or less: 9% Some college/or attending: 27% Associate's degree: 12% Bachelors degree: 18% Masters degree: 21% Doctorate: 12%[reply]

Aggregate: Bacheors degree (as those holding masters and doctorate must hold bachelors first): 52%

Gender 88% Male 12% female

Employment Full time- 39% Part time- 24% Student- 21% Declined to answer- 15%

Other games played, in addition to Rage (number may not add to 100, respondents were allowed to select multiple games) Vampire the Eternal Struggle (CCG)- 45% Magic the Gathering (CCG)- 18% Werewolf the Apocalypse (RPG, parent game of rage)- 63% Vampire the Masquerade (RPG, parent game of Vampire the Eternal Struggle)- 36%

The rest of the survey was taken up with Rage specific details of how often they played, how often they played in tournaments, and other details that weren't of much interest to non-Rage players.

Other surveys have yielded slightly different numbers, the originally quoted 70% was an aggregate statistic from a larger (but older) survey that I don't happen to have to hand at the moment, only an undated summary. I will attempt to locate the older survey and post raw statistics.

There's roughly one-two surveys conducted every year to track the population, which shifts over time. This one is about a year old, and was the only one I happened to have to hand. Next one is expected to be completed by end of December 2006 and we'll adjust statistics overall.

Cited Sources[edit]

This article needs cited sources. And some of it's lists on decks are MUCH too long. I have no idea what this game is, so I unfortunately cannot help. pirkid 17:05, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm unsure how wikipedia would like sources cited for this article. I wrote the majority of this article. I was employed by Azrael Productions, who produced the game for awhile. I'm currently the art director for the fan based productions. The majority of the information comes from private e-mail correspondence with employees of the various companies involved in the game, or the organized play test groups. Some of the information can be found posted on Rageinfo, but a lot of the behind the scenes stuff like release schedules comes from private correspondence. How should that be cited?
