Regarding importance[edit]

I cannot find the source at the moment, but am certain that I read that at one time, in New Orleans, the Ramos Gin Fizz was so popular that the bar where it was invented had over twenty "shaker boys" on staff every night just to shake the drinks, and that even so, there was a long line at the bar to get them. Importance and copyright violation[edit]

This is an interesting drink, but I do not think it warrants its on page. I am creating another page on Fizzes to put a revised version there.

Unlike Gin Fizz [the other article involved] this article was not flagged for merging or deletion, but it has been flagged with non-notable, unreferenced, and stub tags for quite a while.
Like the Gin Fizz, in its current form, it is largely a recipe (which is not desirable at Wikipedia), but there is additional good information that has been kept and merged into the new Fizz (cocktail) article.
