Non-singing thought[edit]

To my mind, one of the standout features of Roger Doucet's performances was his regal bearing: he always looked like a million bucks (contrast some of the slobs they've had singing in recent years). Wearing a nice suit and with every hair in place, he'd stride onto the ice like he owned the place, belt it out, and stride off. Can anyone find a cite for that? I vaguely remember a Wall Street Journal article from decades ago, but haven't found it...
