"renegade"[edit]

This is a very good new article, but I do have one minor comment. I find the use of the term "renegade" in this context to be odd. Is that commonly used in the modern scholarship on Indian wars? If not, I think the tone is inappropriate for a neutral encyclopedia, as it implies disloyalty or rebellion. I would substitute it with a word like "hostile," which simply denotes that they were in conflict. Dominic·t 05:10, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
