Entry Outdated

[edit]

The entry for White Knight Chronicles is outdated. It still has information from the first versions of the game that are dated from 2007. The end-product is completely different. Anybody care to update? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.36.14.127 (talk) 13:18, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Taking apart the trailer...

[edit]

I think I have (as well as the other people who've edited the article) extracted all the information I could from the trailer and the IGN article. Considering the length of the article right now, I think it's not bad. Cheers! Danorux 21:06, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

White Knight Chronicles?

[edit]

And the end of the Tokyo Game Show 2007 trailer, it says, in English, "White Knight Chronicles". Is this to be the official English title? --Serph 20:17, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Could be a placeholder. monogatari = story/chronicles Danorux 04:48, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have seen numerous mentions of it being called White Knight Story, as opposed to Chronicles. I initially looked for it on Wikipedia under that name. Probably when its in English it will be 'Story'--Jingomania (talk) 10:24, 24 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Moved article

[edit]

I moved the article to White Knight Story, as it is the official name that video game websites are using. Deathawk 20:39, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

...that doesn't make it official. That just makes it the title game sites use. Has the gaming company itself made an announcement with that name?—Loveはドコ? (talkcontribs) 23:41, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
... I don't know I'd imagine as I find it odd that a bunch of gaming websites would just start using some random name. But my point is that Wikipedia naming convention says to use the name that most people would recognize, and I think that more people are familiar with White Knight Story than whatever the all Japanese name is. Dark Cloud character apperance

[edit]

At IGN, it is mentioned that one of the characters from the game Dark Cloud is supposed to appear in this game. Is this true? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.225.105.196 (talk) 15:34, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes a Dark Cloud Character will appear in the game, In fact i have a great hunch that its Osmund —Preceding unsigned comment added by Teyachi (talkcontribs) 22:53, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well... it could be Black Knight (the boss), which would be a bit of a letdown. I'd much rather see a real character back, but did they actually specify that it would be a story character, rather than a boss or other enemy? 76.110.79.208 (talk) 00:19, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, osmond maybe. he did a cameo in dark chronicle as well, but so did master utan so yeah -- —Preceding unsigned comment added by 61.29.113.114 (talk) 00:08, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reception?

[edit]

Isnt there any other review scores to put up other then Famitsu's? And i'd like to point out that it wasnt only the online that was reviewed, but that the reviewers only had the most complains about the online (clearly marked in the kotaku article [4]). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.198.199.38 (talk) 13:39, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

English dubbing

[edit]

It seems that the English voices are being recorded; Amber Hood lists the game on her resume that's available on her official website [1] Zidane4028 (talk) 16:37, 7 February 2009 (UTC) Dana Snyder Has also recorded a voice for this game. Fixial (talk) 03:37, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

length

[edit]

Under the gameplay section it says, "Level-5 plans to make White Knight Chronicles a 100 hours game". Since the game is out, does anyone know if it is 100 hours and so that can be changed to present tense? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.177.91.2 (talk) 01:25, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

http://ps3.ign.com/articles/977/977658p1.html says about 40 hours. -I_dunno_how_to_use_wikipedia_guy84 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.201.163.138 (talk) 23:31, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Japanese Release Date

[edit]

At some point, someone changed the Japanese release date to 2009, even though even inside the page it says 2008. I have fixed the page accordingly to say 2008. I knew it was 2008, as I remember being angry that it would take a year to dub the game, back in Jan 09. Polantaris (talk) 11:22, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disc-based?

[edit]

Is this game download-only from the PlayStation Network, or can you also buy it on a disc? Cie'th (talk) 23:48, 5 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disc based only. --RCChrisdude 00:34, 5 May 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by RCChrisdude (talkcontribs)

I asked because it's on sale for download at the PlayStation Network. Cie'th (talk) 00:18, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That's not the full game. That's just the DLC where you could download the Clothing Ticket, thing.--RCChrisdude 02:52, 28 May 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by RCChrisdude (talkcontribs)

Never mind, I got it confused with some other game called Trine. Cie'th (talk) 02:34, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Plot

[edit]

Shouldn't the plot be, y'know, longer? I've played through the game twice and have noticed that it basically just gives the beginning unlike most other video game articles that contain most of the plot. Could someone play through the game and get the plot for this page? Shouldn't take too long. The game is possible to play through completely in a day. --RCChrisdude 23:25, 21 April 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by RCChrisdude (talkcontribs)

I'll deal with what I can, but I'll need some help. Wikiquote page for this article needs help, too. -017Bluefield (talk) 01:55, 17 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
