Editing Article[edit]

I had been editing Fright Nights/Fright Fest and noticed the Six Flags AstroWorld article is mostly about rides, with hardly a mention of special events or shows. This is something of an oversight, as the park was quite good in both categories. While I only intended to add an expanded mention of Fright Nights, I got sidetracked. I am going to add some information to this article in the hope of inspiring an actual Houstonian (or Texan, even) to continue. Note that I have left room for expansion, and invite discussion as to what ought to be here. Oddjob84 (talk) 19:51, 22 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No, I'm not done. I will be back to add 1987-1990. Oddjob84 (talk) 20:07, 22 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
 Done with Source A; started on Source B. Oddjob84 (talk) 00:31, 23 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Done with Source B; and done with this edit. I hasten to point out that the concert listing is incomplete. It reflects only the sources I could readily find. I leave it to future editors to add and improve the article. Oddjob84 (talk) 13:10, 23 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Added and populated infobox. Oddjob84 (talk) 20:59, 14 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Problems & Resolutions[edit]

1. Southern Star opened in 1980, according to the article. Nonetheless, I found the Grassroots listed in 1971. Is this a typo in the source? Oddjob84 (talk) 20:10, 22 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

2. Also found Anne Murray November 9, 1973 and Crosby, Nash & Young August 26, 1977. Were these concerts done elsewhere on property? Oddjob84 (talk) 00:35, 23 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling[edit]

@Evangp: Wouldn't the venue be named using the US spelling "amphitheater", not the UK spelling "amphitheatre"? There aren't many search results for either spelling; perhaps www.setlist.fm. -- John of Reading (talk) 13:42, 6 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I looked at ticket scans and all used "amphitheatre"
