Untitled[edit]

Calling the Jimny "by far the best small 4wd available currently" is really against NPOV. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.185.77.185 (talk) 03:50, 6 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

About Colombia[edit]

I entered the Chevy´s colombian website and they didn´t show anymore this mini SUV for sale. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.186.21.40 (talk) 00:37, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Request for info[edit]

Unlike the SJ page the Jimny page doesnt say if the two-wheel mode is rear-wheel-drive or not. If someone in the knows could update the Jimny section with this information it would be great. -- Tor —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.51.5.5 (talk) 11:48, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Which markets?[edit]

Suzuki sold Jimnys in which markets? Are there LH and RH drive models? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bushcutter (talkcontribs) 03:05, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What a mess![edit]

This article is a ridiculously confusing mess, obviously caused by people not familiar with Suzuki's (itself very confusing) model code system. I have removed some arbitrary categorization (LJ vs SJ replaced by first generation/second generation, for instance) but lots of work remains to be done. And why is "coily" under its own heading? It's merely a nickname given by Americans to Jimnys sold abroad after the Samurai was discontinued. And why does JA have its own heading? Help! I don't have enough interest in later model Jimnys to do all of this... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mr.choppers (talkcontribs) 16:03, 12 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup Time[edit]

The Models section seems entirely unnecessary. The information contained there is simply cribbed from the Japanese page (nothing wrong with that in itself) but it is almost entirely duplicate info from the preceding sections. What remains should really be entered into its relevant place, instead of the current bizarre listing. I'll wait a few days to see if there's any opposition. Samurai safety problems[edit]

It seems that some mention should be made of the Samurai rollover problems, which led Consumer Reports to rate the car "unacceptable", and contributed to its withdrawal from the US market. Suzuki sued CU over this, and lost, ims.

See Suzuki Samurai v Consumers Union for a full discussion. For now, I added a "See also" to this article. --Pete Tillman (talk) 04:20, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It is already mentioned in the Samurai Section (right after "Other Markets"), but I reckon that the "See Also" is not a bad addition. Suzuki v CU was originally part of this article until I split it off, as it was attracting too much controversy and taking up much too much space. The episode deserves its own page. Mini SUV?[edit]

Is it just me or is this off-road vehicle (especially SJ40/410) totally miscategorized into SUV class?

IMHO SUV, by definition, is useless outside of a road and this Suzuki isn't. On the contrary, it's quite capable off-road car despite being small. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.248.253.138 (talk) 17:36, 5 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
