Notable[edit]

The band is relevant as they have won an international music competition and have also had a hit single. Legalalien75 (talk) 15:39, 30 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The band is just a bunch of snots who accidentaly got on tv. If we put these on wikipedia we might as well put any snot on wikipedia. I say remove it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.238.46.225 (talk) 09:00, December 2, 2008‎ (UTC)

Any news on this band? Or Where are they now?[edit]

Clearly they are notable, since the article is still here. However, I was wondering if anyone knew if they have done anything since their original album. Member of the group, Agnete Johnsen, is shown in a photo on the wikipedia page article Sami people, whom Americans may have learnt to call "Lapplander" people. To quote the article: " The Sami are the only indigenous people of Scandinavia recognized and protected under the international conventions of indigenous peoples, and are hence the northernmost indigenous people of Europe."

So, if Agnete Johnsen is a Sami Rock/Pop singer who has some success with her group, that in and of itself is notable and should be expanded within the article. Do we know if other memebers are also Sami? I will try and look in to this as well as into the current state of the band. If I have to cite articles in Finnish, Other editors shiould note that Google Translate works very well with Finnish. You simply cut and past the text into the first box, select what language you wish to translate into and BOOM, there you go. It may be disjointed grammatically, but you can usually make out the needed facts.LiPollis (talk) 02:50, 24 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

To answer my own question, if anyone cares, the band remains active and has a website in Finnish directing interested parties to their booking agent, recordingh company and publicist. Also, founding member, Agnete Johnsen, has recently been performing as a solo artist in Norway and other Scandanavian countires. In her home country of Finland, she made her stage debute in a Finnish musical production of The Wizard of Oz as Dorothy. She received high priase but the production was only given a modestly positive review due to some oddd casting choices and the decision to make Glinda the Good Witch a man with a speech impedient for laughs. I discovered all of this just by using Google Translate. Here's the link to the article reviewing Johnsen's stage debut. Just cut and paste each section into Google Translate to get a basic English translation. Agnete skinner i sin teaterdebut Translation - "Agnete shines in his theater debut". She may eventually deserve her own article. LiPollis (talk) 09:04, 13 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
